This project was secured through the competitive tender route.
The works involved the installation of mechanical and electrical services for 154 medium quality flats arranged in 4 separate blocks. The central electrical, water and drainage services were routed through the underground car park area to the blocks in vertical risers.
An in-depth detailed design review process was carried out to resolve quality issues in the flats.
The project was completed in 3 phases. Tenants took possession of their dwellings prior to completion of all blocks. This necessitated setting to work and maintaining the operation of partially completed central systems - mains distribution, water supplies, car park ventilation and drainage.
